Much to expect from the Cross-Branding initiative between DaPlaylister, and Taste Good Coffee.
The morning routine can be a mundane sequence of thoughtless activities that can shift the brain to autopilot in the morning; leaving one unaware of their mindfulness and overall wellness. About 20% of American Adults are experiencing “high levels of psychological distress”, according to FactTank.com, due to COVID19. Taste Good Coffee and DaPlaylister Network have formed a cross-branding initiative that will curate a morning playlist that is intended to help alleviate morning anxiety.

Coffee and Music’s effect on the mind has played a role in progressing the day for centuries. A jump in productivity after it replaced beer as the morning drink of choice in some European countries, according to “Uncommon Grounds”, by Mark Pendergrass. Coffee also has some health benefits such as Chlorogenic acids (CGAs): polyphenol antioxidants that may benefit some biological pathways, such as blood sugar metabolism and high blood pressure, both of which are related to the risk of age-related mental decline, according to Healthline.com. Music soothes the beast within. According to Johns Hopkins medicine, studies have shown that listening to music can “reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory….” The synergy is sure to create a boost in motivation and mindfulness as the two companies plan to curate a number of short ensembles of listener friendly music.

There’s much to expect from this initiative: Listeners will be able to take advantage of special discounts and offers and signature products courtesy of Taste Good Coffee. The effort brings endorsement to talent like R&B recording artist Nyasia Chane'l, to launch a seasonal signature blend under the TGC product line. Taste Good Coffee’s President Liam Hughes commented, “Our key responsibility, aside from coffee, is to help a person get through the most important part of their day: The Morning. It’s safe to say that the while the pandemic has created much uncertainty in the world, one thing for certain is: Taste Good Coffee and DaPlaylister Network will make sure we continue to have the resilience to persevere. The first playlist will be released in late April of 2021.
